Erika is a very (VERY!) sweet, bubbly and friendly girl from Kuwait who was stopping by Los Angeles on her way to Central and South America. On her first day at PodShare, Erika went with her local LA friends to Disneyland! From then on it was day after day of exploring Los Angeles, spending time with her friends and brightening PodShare with her beaming smile! After leaving PodShare, Erika was on her way to Peru, then Argentina.

Arturo is our #1065 podestrian. Pod 10, from New Mexico

ABOUT

Arturo is our friend from Roswell, New Mexico. He is very outgoing and loves to laugh. He went to a comedy show that he loved and said it was very funny. He enjoys all standup and watches Parks and Recreation. His flight left at 6 am so he was planning on staying up until his shuttle arrived at about 4 AM! He was also at coachella this last week.

The Miguels are our #1132 and #1133 podestrians. Pod 10 and Pod 5, from London and Portugese.

ABOUT

The Miguels confused us a bit. At first we thought we had accidentally booked the same person twice. What are the chances of two guys with the same name arriving on the same day at the same time? But, alas there are indeed two Miguels and they are friends…. and they are awesome.

These guys are on holiday, enjoying the bars and sights of Hollywood before heading back to their jobs as motion graphic artists. After a week of work, they’re heading back on the road to tour South East Asia.

This is David and Jessicka, our #1127 ans #1128 podestrians. Pod 3, from London.

ABOUT

David and Jessicka are traveling machines. En route from Thailand to Mexico, they stopped over in Hollywood for a few days. David wanted to “hit things” at the batting cage and see absolutely everything. On their first day here, he searched through all our tour books and made a list of sites they had to visit. Jessicka seemed a bit concerned they might spend more time planning than actually exploring. They weren’t able to get to everything on their itinerary, soo… they obviously need to come back and stay with us again!

From here, they’re off to Mexico City, traveling across the country, flying to Guatamela, roaming around South America, and then heading to Africa! We’re totally jealous, but super excited for them!

Andy is our #1129 podestrian. Pod 2, from Australia.

ABOUT

After sending his wife Stephanie and daughter on a plane back to Australia, Andy joined us downstairs for a night in Pod 2. His lovely family spent a few days in our loft while visiting all the touristy sites. Don’t let their stereotypical photos of the Hollywood sign fool you. These guys are veteran travelers. The real deal. They’ve even taking their baby daughter camping in Namibia. She’s sure to catch the travel bug, so who knows maybe she’ll even become a podestrian one day.

Michael is our #1124 podestrian. Pod 6, from Germany

ABOUT

Michael was on holiday here from Germany. After exploring LA and making new friends at Podshare, Michael set off for another adventure. The last stop on his trip is Vegas! It was great meeting you Michael. We hope to see you again soon.

Stanley is our #1123 podestrian Pod 2, from London and a student in Canada.

ABOUT

Stanley LOVES sports. Every sport, well except American football. He’ll watch, but spent quite a bit of time explaining why it’s inferior to rugby and soccer. Stanley ventured to Anaheim for a baseball game, watched a hockey game at the Staples Center (after the Clippers’ loss cost him his basketball playoff tickets), and taught Mykee the ins and outs of cricket. When he wasn’t chatting about the latest scores and standings, Stanley enjoyed beating all of us at NBA 2k12 on the Xbox. We challenged him to a real game of basketball, but he prefers the digital court. If it were football, like the real football, it would have been a different story and might have ended badly for the rest of us.

During his stay, Stanley became really fond of Stout Burgers and Walgreens cookies and sushi. Who could blame him for a happy hour burger and onion ring addiction? And don’t worry, he definitely walked it off. Stanley not only walked to Griffith Observatory, he also all the way to Santa Monica on his last day here! His next stop is a little too far to travel on foot: sunny San Diego!

Stanley, thanks for hanging out with us! We’ll be sure to practice our virtual basketball skills before you get back!

Maribel & Pati came down from Washington for a concert. At first they come off a little shy, but after getting comfortable, these girls are full of personality! After they leave here, they’re on their way to San Francisco to see another concert! And, it’s the same artist! That’s dedication.

ABOUT

These guys are awesome. Daniel & Eiji are two of the kindest people you will ever meet! Their smiling faces immediately bring energy into any room. When they took a brief detour to Vegas, we definitely felt their absence. I’m not sure if they won anything on The Strip, but luck was on their side here at PodShare – they were upgraded to our lofts for two nights. Pretty sweet deal, right?

Sean and Steve are our #1103 ans #1104 podestrians. Pod 7 and 8, from Perth, Australia.

ABOUT

Braving the cold and cloudy skies, Sean and Steve braved the beaches of Santa Monica and Venice. They didn’t seem to mind the weather, after having been lived in Canada for work for several months. Don’t feel too bad… they are heading to Costa Rica. So, there’ll be plenty of sun and sand in their future.
